The Mountains is a specialist nursing home offering the highest standards of care for elderly residents with Alzheimers, dementia or mental illness. The home is set in a relaxed environment, in the idyllic location of Brecon in Powys.

There are three large comfortable lounges and two dining areas. The home has a distinctive ‘family’ atmosphere and is bustling with visitors and activities. Our buildings are set in beautiful enclosed gardens, available for residents and guests to enjoy year round.

The Mountains offers luxury accommodation for all our residents. We have a mixture of single and double rooms, all ensuite and many with views over Pen-y-fan, the highest peak in the Brecon Beacons.

Our bright, airy living spaces present a cheery welcome and passenger and stair lifts ensure wheelchair access throughout the home. Residents and guests are free to enjoy our beautiful garden space year-round. We have the latest technology enabling our residents and visitors to be up to date and connected during their stay here. Wifi, broadband and ipads are available for everyone to enjoy.
